Mom Talk

Today we went to the mall for a while just to get out for a bit. I had coupons for two different stores that were set to expire and I went looking for deals. At Old Navy, I thought I had found one. There was a sign saying “2 for $15” all around the PJ section and I really needed some new PJ’s. Plus I had a 20% off coupon for the store. I picked up two pair of PJ pants and two shirts and headed for the check out.

When I got there, my total was close to $55 (for two pair of pajamas!!!). I told the girl I thought the sign said “2 for $15” so we walked back there together. There was a sign that said that in one section and completely identical signs all over the area. The problem? The signs were all identical in size and color and everything except for the “2 for. . .” part. I felt cheated. I think stores should be penalized in some way for such sneaky advertising. I hope my expensive new PJ’s (well, I still needed new pajamas) are worth it!
