Mom Talk

We’re spending the day recovering from all the festivities. I actually took a 2 ½ hour nap with my daughter and it was wonderful. I woke up this morning feeling a bit like I’d been hit by a fast moving truck and dragged behind it. Graphic, I know, but accurate! Apparently, my decorations were quite a hit as several people came up to me at church today and went on about how they couldn’t believe the church basement could look like that. I tried to thank them modestly but it was hard because I’m so darn proud of me! Moving on to work on Monday. Arrggh.
