Mom Talk

The baby shower went off with only a few hitches. One of the games wasn’t as smooth as I had hoped but the decorations were great (the mommy-to-be actually cried when she walked in to see them) and she got awesome gifts. Everyone got along all right and that was a big deal. Some of the sides of this family often don’t mesh well. Clean up was fairly painless and I got to take home part of the cake (which I love). I’m totally and completely exhausted but definitely feel like I accomplished something. Overall, it was a good day.
