Ovulation Predictor Tests
I’m sure there are other mommies out there trying to conceive number two or three (or more!). I had a miscarriage in July and we just got the green light to try again. I used ovulation predictor tests the last time and am using them again this time. I don’t really time our attempts around them, just mostly use them to see when I ovulate in my cycle. All the stuff you read says the test line must be as dark as or darker than the contrast line for it to be a “positive” test but that has never been my experience. Two days a month I get a second line in the test window but it’s never quite as dark. The rest of the time I see only a faint shadow. This happened the month I got pregnant last time, too. I think I must be catching my LH levels on the way up and on the way back down. I test daily at 2:00 pm but maybe I just ovulate later in the day than some women? Shared experiences are welcome!
