Mom Talk

I ordered my daughter’s birthday cake today.  She chose Little Einsteins as her theme for the party so I got some cake plates, napkins, party hats and table covers in that design.  Problem is, the Little Einsteins theme is copyrighted so the cake was more of a challenge.  I went to my company’s bakery plant today (I work in the insurance department for a grocery chain so I get a discount on cakes) to place my order today and brought a Little Einsteins picture I printed from online.  I told them basically that I’m not creative but I want a cake that will go with the theme.  The office girl told me she would talk to the lead decorator and e-mail me the final price.  They are so creative there I love it! 

I got an e-mail a few hours later.  They are going to draw Rocket with no people inside for the theme and put multi-colored musical notes all over the cake with neon sprinkles on the borders.  Very smart!  My daughter will love the cake and it will look awesome with the decorations.  One more item out of the way for the party.
